BAA Records.

Archers who are affiliated to the Berkshire Archery Association may claim county records. Archers who are not affiliated to the BAA may not, even if shooting at a BAA affiliated club.

Archers may claim records for rounds as appropriate for their age group. BAA will follow AGB with regard to age groups and appropriate rounds. Except that BAA will allow records for all senior rounds to be claimed by 50+ age group archers. Also junior archers may claim county records for shooting up their age groups. Eg. an U16 archer may claim a record for a round appropriate for an U18 or senior archer.

The county recognizes two categories of record, Overall Records and Open Records.

Overall record scores may be shot at a club target day. The club record officer should satisfy him/herself that the round was shot in accordance to the rules of shooting. And the club record officer should submit the record claim on the correct form on behalf of the archer.

Open record scores must be shot at a record status tournament, with the appropriate officials present. Record claims should still be submitted on the correct form by the archer’s club record officer. And a link should be provided to the results as published on the Internet.
